Kim began painting in 2019 following her retirement, working exclusively in acrylic. In recent months, she has gravitated toward larger canvases, finding particular satisfaction in working at scale.

Her work is driven by a fascination with skies and cloud formations, a subject she continually observes and reimagines. Drawing from her imagination rather than direct replication, her paintings explore the movement, mood, and presence of the sky.

Kim has participated in a number of exhibitions, both locally and in major cities. She hopes viewers find enjoyment and connection in her work.
