Napier artist Gail creates bold acrylic works on canvas, often finishing each piece with her own custom framing.

Inspired by the moments and characters of everyday life, her paintings are infused with humour, playful exaggeration and a distinctly tongue-in-cheek perspective. Ordinary situations are often transformed into wildly reimagined scenes, shaped by her irreverent wit and intentionally non-realistic style. Her characters bend and evolve to suit the narrative, bringing personality and charm to each work.

Gail began exhibiting with Humanity Painters in 2009 before expanding into local, solo and invitation-only exhibitions, including affordable art shows throughout New Zealand. Her work now hangs in homes across New Zealand and overseas.
