Irina Velman’s expressionist style explores her interest in shapes, lines and colours of nature combined with emotional responses and memories.

Irina uses both traditional and experimental painting techniques. Combining acrylic paints with different polymers and resin, the artist creates unique texture and organic earthy feeling. In addition to painting, Irina loves designing. Her art is printed on wide range of giftware and stationery produced by New Zealand and Australian companies. The artist sees the world in a beautiful, mysterious way, and believes in the healing power of art.
