Joanne’s mixed media works have evolved over the last few years and could perhaps be described as interdisciplinary mixed media.

She combines watercolours, acrylics, oil and cold wax medium, collage, and the many different processes used in printmaking to create unique artworks, often incorporated into collage pieces.

Her time spent in Asia, followed by her experience in the beautiful environment of the Coromandel, frequently influences her work.
