Judi is a Wellington-based artist and a former NGHS student. Her work centres on storytelling, with a focus on the world’s endangered wildlife and wild places.

Drawing from her own wildlife photography, Judi moves beyond traditional nature imagery through digital photo-artistic techniques, creating works that feel closer to paintings than photographs. This approach allows her to interpret not just what is seen, but what might be felt, exploring the inner worlds of her subjects in a way that connects with human emotion.

Her aim is to foster empathy for other living creatures, using art as a bridge between viewer and subject. Each piece is produced as an archival giclée limited-edition print. For works featuring endangered wildlife, Judi donates 10% of proceeds to conservation efforts.
