Studio Reset, a Kapiti artist, creates multi-sensory encaustic artworks that have been exhibited and sold nationally and internationally for over 15 years.
Her holistic and intuitive approach supports sustainability in her art practice. Recently, she’s pushed the boundaries of her beeswax medium into the third dimension, with notable awards including the RT Nelson Sculpture Award in 2023 and the Sustainability Trust Award in 2024. As a backyard entomologist and certified beekeeper, she harvests beeswax from her home hives to create her encaustic medium paint for 2D artworks. Fulfilling a childhood dream, she’s established “honeycomb” as a point of difference in sculpture medium.
Her art practice is deeply connected to her love of bees and the natural world. With a strong focus on sustainability, Studio Reset continues to innovate and experiment with her unique medium.
