Lynette Holschier

Lynette Holschier has always wanted to be an artist. As a child, she loved making things and getting her first tin of watercolour paint was a highlight.

She still enjoys visiting art shops and opening new tins of paint. Life took over, but creativity remained a journey of self-discovery for her.  During hard times, art preserved her. A time of grief led her to explore her artistic side, and it opened up a new world. She has no formal training, but life experiences and intuition guide her. She loves starting with a blank canvas and layering colours. Coloured pencils captivate her, and she’s taught herself to manipulate them. They take her to her happy place. She enjoys watching people and imagining their stories, which inspires her next art piece. Creativity is a gift, and she’s grateful for its presence in her life.
