Mj celebrates what inspires her. She explores a variety of styles, with bold gestural movements and exciting, vibrant colour choices. Mj’s process of ‘painterly application’ shows her expressive nature through personal experience defining her work, treasuring the flaws we all feel and see in the mirror – “the things that make us beautiful and unique”. She finds the imperfection of the body interesting and evocative, this is how she is able to encourage a spark of conversation about non-conformant societal norms of the body, creating an interesting and enjoyable experience for the viewer.
