Monique Jackett

Monique Jackett is a mixed media artist from the Central Hawke’s Bay. She lives on a lifestyle block with her husband, two children and a menagerie of rescue farm animals. She is also a part time primary school teacher and musician.

The play of light in dawn or dusk skies, windswept coastlines and vast landscapes around Aotearoa, provide a channel and inspiration for Monique’s paintings. See aims to create pieces that blur boundaries between the familiar and the mysterious. Her land, sky, water and forest settings are primary created with acrylic and oil techniques in a semi-abstract style.

Monique is an established artist, exhibiting her works across New Zealand at National Art shows, regional exhibitions and at galleries.
