Peter Howard is a watercolour artist based on Waiheke Island, where he sells his work through local galleries.

His paintings are held in private collections in Australia and England, and more recently, three of his pieces were acquired by collectors in Sweden. In 2024, he was awarded second place in the New Zealand Watercolour National Winter Competition. In addition to painting, Peter also runs watercolour workshops on the island. His primary subjects include boats, seascapes, and his personal favourite—abandoned farm sheds.
